About the game
Nonogram is a picture puzzle played on a grid. Each row and column has numbers at its edge, and those numbers tell you how many squares in that line are filled in a row. Your job is to use those clues to decide which squares to fill, and the filled squares slowly form a pixel picture.
You choose a difficulty level before you start, so a short break can be an easy grid and a longer sitting can be a harder one. The clues are all you get, so you work by logic, not by guessing. When two numbers appear in one line, they mark separate runs, and you need to leave a gap of at least one empty square between them. For example, a clue of 3 1 means three filled squares, then a gap, then one more filled square.
How to play
- Look at the numbers above each column and to the left of each row. Each number counts a run of filled squares in that line.
- Use the clues to work out which squares must be filled. If a line has more than one number, leave at least one empty square between the runs.
- Click or tap a square to fill it. Clear a square if you filled it by mistake.
- Solve using only the numbers, checking rows against columns until the picture is complete.
