Privacy at Poki, in plain words

How juegospoki.co handles information while you are playing is described here. It stays brief, because our approach is simple.

The site itself

Playing requires no account. There is no registration, no sign-in and no contact form anywhere on the site. Your name, email, age and phone number are never requested, and we gather no personal data from the pages you visit here.

Technical records

Our server keeps routine technical records, the way nearly every website does. Your IP address, the browser you use and the time of your visit sit in those logs. Their purpose is twofold: keeping the site operational and detecting attacks or abuse. After a limited time they are deleted.

Games from other developers

Independent developers make the games on Poki, and a game distribution partner loads them. A game runs inside a frame on our page when it opens. Inside that frame, the partner and the developers may show ads and may use cookies or similar storage. Their own privacy policies govern what they do there, which is outside our control. We sell no data, and we receive no personal data from them.

Children

Children and young teens make up many of our players. We knowingly collect personal data from no one, children included. If you believe a child has emailed personal information to us, write to us and we will delete it.

Cookies in your browser

A site or a game stores small files called cookies in your browser. You can clear them at any time. On a phone or tablet, open your browser settings, find the privacy or site data section and choose to delete cookies and site data. On a computer, that option is usually under Settings, then Privacy. Clearing cookies may reset some game settings, such as a saved level or a sound preference. That is normal.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to ask about your data, write to [email protected]. We read the messages and reply as soon as we can.
