About the game
Sudoku hands you a board of 81 cells, sorted into nine small squares of 3x3. A few cells already show a digit; the rest are blank and waiting for you. Before you start, you pick how hard you want the puzzle to be.
Then it is one cell at a time: click an empty cell, click a digit, and check the lines around it. No digit can appear twice in a row, a column or a small 3x3 square. The Notes button lets you mark candidate numbers without placing them, which helps when a cell has several options. Wrong entries are possible, so a careful look before each click goes a long way.
How to play
- Click the cell you want to fill, then click a number from 1 to 9 to put it there.
- Press Notes to mark possible numbers in a cell without placing them.
- Each row, column and 3x3 square holds every digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.
- Choose a difficulty level first, and watch out for mistakes as you fill the grid.
